firstly... I agree that the cabinet should not have an equal amount of women to men but for different reasons.. Cabinet members should be given these position purely on their own work merits and completely REGARDLESS of what sex or race they are. To give a woman one of the top jobs... just because she's a woman is completely sexist.

There are many extremists out there and there is nothing new about this specific speech.
The main thing to take in – which we, westerners, too often prefer not to acknowledge – is that negotiation, reasoning and good faith does not work with everyone. And with those it can never work other means must be sought. more…

Yes Qasim, No matter who wins there wil be repercussions. I am not giving in to either black or white extremists as both are loathsome groups, however one cant be an Ostrich and pretend that nothing will happen.
I just wish that we didnt have either of the present candidates to choose from!
And as regards money......it always wins. The more…

Hmmm interesting. But theres no way you could justify that argument in the media or anything. You'd just be accused of giving in to white extremists. I see your point tho and do hope your wrong, coz the alternatives to Obama aren't very good for anyone but rich americans, in my opinion ofcourse. Even if Obama lost, there might be a backlash from af more…

I am absolutely gobsmacked at the AU not suspending Mugabe.
I personally feel if America and England went in to save the people from this hood I could possibly be more accepting of the intervention in Iraq. This is a dispicable state of affairs that all democratic governments and peoples of the world should be condemning and acting to more…

It reminds me of the family that lives opposite Winstons flat in Orwell's 1984. Where the Mother is petrified of her children and they run wild uncontrollably, they are subject more to the Governments authority than their parents.

I think it is a mistake to believe that the government runs this country. It is controlled very firmly by the very rich, and always has been.
None of that stops Gordon "is a moron" Brown and his toy chancellor changing fuel duty to a flat rate instead of a percentage, which would go a long way to cushioning the effect of changes in the more…

Yes it was! lol Hope they have learned their lesson! (Do politicians ever ? ) lol However I have to say that they were not that money grabbing when they first started, its the constant tax increases and the braying for profits from the shaeholders that has escalated the greed. We should insist that these companies are put into the hands of non-prof more…
